We are princesses! Why should we hide this? Sometimes when we reveal this, people tend to put us into a drawer and that’s it. No chance to get out of it – never. But why do we love to file people? There is a simple saying: Never judge a book by its cover. So true but doesn’t help because we see somebody, a short view on her skin, her clothes and make-up and we think we know who she is: Daddy’s girl, born with a golden spoon in her mouth, grown-up with Mommy’s Prada shoes and Daddy’s credit card. Reactions: Frowns, sometimes deprecative smiles correspondingly reactions.
But what if she works hard for the money? What if she learns everyday? What if she snaps her designer clothes in outlets, internet, second hand shops? You will never know because you see her cover and think everything is said between you and her. But let yourself be surprised.
There is a princess in each one of us – let it out and don’t care what other people say!
For my look: Because my nephew’s youth consecrate I wanted to dress-up more chic than usual. With a properly dress – I found this at New Yorker (can’t believe it either) from the Glamour Collection. I was surprised how it fitted. The material is great – especially the shiny texture. And finally I could wear some heels – I promised you several times :D I love the wedding and party season! I don’t know yet when I can wear it the next time but I will find an occasion. What do you suggest?
Wir alle sind Prinzessinnen! Wieso das verstecken? Manchmal, wenn es durchblitzt, stecken die Leute einen gerne in eine Schublade aus der man leider nicht mehr herauskommt. Aber warum lieben es die Menschen so, zu katalogisieren? Wie heißt es so schön? Beurteile ein Buch niemals anhand seines Covers. Das mag sein, hilft aber herzlich wenig, denn wenn man jemanden sieht, reicht meist ein kurzer Blick auf die Haut, die Klamotten, das Make-up und schon denken wir zu wissen, wer sie ist: Papa’s kleiner Liebling, mit dem goldenen Löffel im Mund zur Welt gekommen, mit Mama’s Prada Schuhen und Daddy’s Kreditkarte aufgewachsen. Die Reaktionen: Missbilligende Blicke, manchmal abwertendes Lächeln und entsprechendes Benehmen.
Aber was, wenn sie hart für ihr Geld arbeitet? Wenn sie jeden Tag lernt? Was, wenn sie ihre Designerklamotten in Outlets, im Internet oder Secon-Hand-Läden erwirbt? Das wird man nie erfahren, weil man nur die Oberfläche betrachtet und denkt, dass es nichts zu reden gibt. Aber lasst euch überraschen!
In jeder von uns steckt eine (kleine) Prinzessin – lasst sie raus und schert euch nicht, was andere sagen!
Zu meinem Look: Anlässlich der Jugendweihe meines Neffens wollte ich mich besonders hübsch machen. Das Kleid dafür habe ich tatsächlich bei New Yorker aus der Glamour Collection gefunden. Ich war überrascht wie gut es passte und aussah. Das Material ist so toll (darunter ist sogar Tüll) und ich liebe die schimmernde Struktur. Und ich konnte sogar endlich hohe Schuhe tragen – die ich euch ständig versprochen habe :D Die Hochzeits- und Festesaison finde ich super! Keine Ahnung, wann ich es das nächste Mal tragen kann, aber ich werde schon etwas finden. Was würdet ihr vorschlagen?

I love what you said! I feel that way, people are way too quick to judge. I get judged a lot because I save up my money to buy my clothing and I work extremely hard for it, but people often don’t see that. You look gorgeous in this dress, a true princess indeed!
