Every year again I look forward to the ‘Eisleber Wiesen’ in Lutherstadt Eisleben – a small town in Saxony Anhalt. Many people don’t know this folk festival at all, although it is much older (first mentioned in 1521!) than the ‘Oktoberfest’ in Munich (1810), where it’s common to wear Dirndl and Lederhosen. More than 350 exhibitors and many rides can be found there, with more than half a million visitors every year.
A romantic dress on a ‘Wiesen’ fair?
It was really a sunny day, so I chose my soft pink mini dress with maxi ruffles by Glamorous. As the Volksfest takes place on a huge wasteland, it is dirty of course – so I just combined rubber boots: functionality met style.
From summer into winter – how to take over your favorite clothes
It is obvious that my ruffled Glamorous dress is a spring/summer piece. But the temperatures have already fallen and the days are getting shorter. To still enjoy the summer a bit, why not “take over” the darlings? In this case, I used a leggings from Zara. Every winter, I combine leggings with longer sweaters, and when it is gray outside, the sun is shining on my legs.

Viele kennen das Volksfest überhaupt nicht, obwohl es viel älter ist (1521 erstmals erwähnt!) als das “Oktoberfest” in München (1810), wo es üblich ist Dirndl und Lederhosen zu tragen. Ein romantisches Kleid auf der “Wiese”?
Es war wirklich ein sonniger Tag und so entschied ich mich für mein rosa farbenes Minikleid mit Maxi-Rüschen von Glamorous. Da das Volksfest aber auf einem ziemlichen Ödland stattfindet, ist es natürlich dreckig vor Ort – also kombinierte ich einfach Gummistiefel dazu. Funktionalität traf auf Style.
Vom Sommer in den Winter – wie man seine Lieblingsstücke mitnimmt
Es ist offensichtlich, dass mein gerüschtes Glamorous-Kleid ein Frühjahr/Sommerstück ist. Aber die Temperaturen sind bereits gesunken und auch die Tage werden kürzer. Um den Sommer also noch ein bisschen auszukosten, wieso nicht die Lieblinge “mit rübernehmen”? In diesem Fall habe ich dafür eine Leggings von Zara eingesetzt. Jeden Winter kombiniere ich Leggings zu längeren Pullovern, und wenn es draußen grau ist, scheint bei mir auf den Beinen die Sonne.
Wirklich ausgefallene Leggings zu finden, ist übrigens nicht ganz einfach. Gut, dass das Internet einiges her gibt. Bei Planet Sports zum Beispiel habe ich vor kurzem richtig farbenfrohe und tolle Stücke entdeckt, die die graue Jahreszeit mit Sicherheit verkürzen. Dazu ein schlichter Sweater und fertig ist der “Strickkleid”-Look für die kalte Jahreszeit.

What a pretty dress
Ich muss leider zugeben, dass ich bis eben auch noch nie von diesem Volksfest gehört habe. ;) Aber dein Outfit ist wirklich ganz zauberhaft! Ich habe mir auch vorgenommen meine Sommerteile einfach auch im Winter durch Layering zu tragen. Oder meine liebste rosane Uhr einfach auch zu den Winteroutfits zu kombinieren, wo immer es passt. Ich hoffe so erhalte ich mir ein wenig die schönen Erinnerungen an den Sommer. ;)
