My new addiction: Slip dresses! You guys should know that I’m always a little bit late for new trends… Sometimes it takes months or even seasons until I adapt something. At first I’m really suspicious: Is this really cool or just a hype because some million dollar baby doll wears it on IG? Then I seek advices from my bible – the InStyle. And then I’m sure if I like it or not. This time it’s the slip dress. It started with a short flirt at H&M when I saw a dress in sale and thought for the first time, well, you could try this. And now see how I tried it! And I love it!
How to wear a slip dress?
Slip dresses remind of boudoir chic, night wear and a tempting evening. Means: It needs breaks!
- wear cropped shirts underneath so that it looks less like underwear and more like an everyday piece
- if it’s too hot outside skip the crop top and wear sneakers (Converse will do it)
- 90s are back: chokers, necklace layering, temporary tattoos – anything goes!
- add expensive pieces because slip dresses might tend to look very youngish – to show your a stand woman and not a girl, combine your favorite it-pieces

Meine neue Sucht: Slip Dresses! Ihr solltet wissen, dass ich immer etwas spät dran bin, was Trends angeht… Manchmal dauert es Monate, ja sogar ganze Saisons bis ich etwas aufnehme und umsetze. Zuerst bin ich extrem misstrauisch: Ist es wirklich cool oder nur ein Hype, weil irgendeine Millionen schwere Biene es auf IG gepostet hat? Dann konsultiere ich meine Bibel – die InStyle. Und dann weiß ich tatsächlich, ob ich es mag oder nicht. Dieses Mal ist es das Slip Dress. Es begann mit einem kurzen Flirt bei H&M im Sale als ich das Kleid zum ersten Mal sah und dachte, ja, das könnte ich mal probieren. Und nun schaut mal wie ich es probiert habe! Und ich liebe es!
Wie trägt man Slip Dresses?
Slip Dresses erinnern an Boudour-Chic, Nachtwäsche und verführerische Abende. Heißt: Sie brauchen Brüche!
- tragt cropped Tops darunter, so dass es weniger nach Unterwäsche und mehr nach Alltag ausschaut
- sollte es draußen doch mal zu warm sein, vergesst das kurze Shirt und kombiniert statt dessen Sneakers (Converse passen 1A)
- die 90er sind zurück: Choker, viele Ketten übereinander, temporäre Tattoos – alles ist erlaubt!
- ergänzt teure Stücke, da Slip Dresses dazu neigen sehr jugendlich auszusehen – um zu zeigen, dass ihr gestandene Frauen und keine Mädchen mehr seid, einfach die Lieblings-it-Tasche tragen

I adore slip dresses. They bring a real intimate feeling to fashion but I certainly understand why you would have waited to try them. They are quite different. Ah you in tights once again!! And such pretty ones too.
