What a year! I can’t really say that 2016 was one of my favorites – and this not only due to political or earthly changes. It was a hard year but I handled it and can look positively into the future of 2017.
My recap for 2016:
I gained more and more followers on my blog and Instragram!
I changed my hair color into brown.
My passion for traveling led me to five destinations in only one year. I saw Barcelona, Blankenhain (here I had a SPA weekend), the Greek island Kos, my beloved Paris again and last but not least Prague.
For the first time I’ve visited the Wiesn with a cute pink dirndl!
So last week I had been to Prague and shared some of my impressions on Instagram. A wonderful city with a great history but unfortunately not one of my preferred destinations. The Charles Bridge in Prague was fabulous and the old city center had amazing architecture. Unfortunately the sun shone only for one day, the rest of our vacations we had spent in rain.
My tipps for visiting Prague:
Look for little restaurants, far from the typical shopping avenues. We found places with delicious food! *Secret tip* The Potrefená Husa in Národni 364/39 sells goulash soup in a huge loaf of bread.
Enjoy the old city center – the old buildings and shops invite for long walks and special souvenirs.
Visit the National Theatre close to the Charles Bridge! The ballets are wonderful and it’s not need to speak Czech to understand the plot.

Was für ein Jahr! Ich kann nicht sagen, dass 2016 eines meiner liebsten war – und das nicht aufgrund von politischen oder weltlichen Veränderungen. Es war ein zähes Jahr, aber ich habe es angepackt und kann nun positiv in die Zukunft von 2017 schauen.
Mein Fazit von 2016:
Ich habe immer mehr Followers auf meinem Blog und Instagram bekommen!
Ich habe meine Haare braun gefärbt.
Meine Leidenschaft fürs Reisen hat mich allein in diesem Jahr fünf Zielen geleitet. Ich habe Barcelona gesehen, Blankenhain (für ein tolles SPA-Wochenende), die griechische Insel Kos, erneut mein geliebtes Paris und nicht zuletzt die tschechische Hauptstadt Prag.
Ich habe zum ersten Mal die Wiesen besucht mit einem süßen, pinken Dirndl!
Die vergangene Woche war ich also in Prag und habe einige meiner Eindrücke bereits mit euch auf Instagram geteilt. Eine wirklich schöne Stadt mit einer tollen Geschichte, aber leider keiner meiner präferierten Ziele. Die Karlsbrücke in Prag ist natürlich toll und die Altstadt hat eine bemerkenswerte Architektur. Leider schien nur an einem Tag die Sonne, die restlichen Tage verbrachten wir im Regen.
Meine Tipps für Prag:
Schaut nach kleinen unscheinbaren Restaurants fernab der Shopping-Meilen! Wir fanden tolle Plätze mit absolut leckerem Essen. *Geheimtipp* Das Potrefená Husa in der Národni 364/39 verkauft Gulaschsuppe in einem riesigen Laib Brot.
Genießt die Altstadt – die alten Gebäude und Shops laden zu langen Spaziergängen und besonderen Mitbringseln ein.
Besucht das National Theatre nähe der Karlsbrücke. Die Ballette sind wunderbar und ihr müsst kein tschechisch sprechen, um die Handlung zu verstehen.
In diesem Sinne wünsche ich euch ein frohes, neues Jahr, viel Erfolg und dass all eure Wünsche in Erfüllung gehen mögen.
