Run Pony Run
So my loves,
like I’d announced already, I’d been to a real horse race. It was the first one for me and I just loved being there! I had so much fun. At the beginning the weather was pretty awful – cold and windy and always on the verge of raining but fortunately the sun came out later and I could enjoy every second there. It’s just natural that I bet on that horse race aaaaaaand . . . my pony or better my horse won!! I bet two times: in the first round as well as in the second. The horses were both girls, Daria and Loelita and when I heard that my chosen horse won I jumped up and down.
Unfortunately I didn’t win the hat competition. I was sad of course but I love my hat and this is what counts, don’t you think? Later at this day there was thunder and lots of rain but like I found out the horses started into the last rounds despite of the rain. What a performance – Chapeau!

wie ich euch bereits angekündigt hatte, war ich bei einem richtigen Pferderennen. Für mich war es das erste Mal und ich war vollauf begeistert! Ich hatte so viel Spaß. Zu Beginn war das Wetter richtig furchtbar – kalt, windig und immer kurz davor zu regnen, aber glücklicherweise steckte später die Sonne ihren Kopf durch die Wolken und ich konnte jede Sekunde genießen. Selbstverständlich habe ich beim Pferderennen gewettet uuuuuund. . . mein Pony oder besser mein Pferd gewann!! Ich habe zwei mal gesetzt: sowohl in der ersten als auch in der zweiten Runde. Die Pferde waren jedes Mal Mädchen, Daria und Loelita und als ich hörte, dass sie gewonnen hatten, bin ich wie verrückt auf und ab gesprungen.
Leider habe ich nicht den Hut-Wettbewerb gewonnen. Natürlich war ich traurig, aber ich liebe meinen Hut und das zählt ja letztendlich, stimmt’s?
Später an diesem Tag gab es noch Donner und viel Regen, aber wie ich erfuhr sind die Pferde trotzdem in den letzten Runden gestartet. Was für eine Leistung – Chapeau!

Du schreibst er ist Vintage?! Wo findet man so schöne Hüte? Habe vor Kurzem in München bei Tricia Leonards einen Christian-Dior-Vintage-Hut aus den 1960er erstanden. Ich liiiebe ihn, geeignet aber sicherlich nur für ein Pferderennen weil sonst zu dekadent.
