Vox Secret Spa Night
A couple of weeks ago (actually almost a month ;-)) I had been invited from a PR agent to a special blogger night at Berlin: The VOX Secret SPA Night. I was curious and confirmed, of course! I was totally excited when I got to the location, called “Kunztschule” at Berlin Mitte next to Friedrichstraße. Our dress code was “glamorous white” and I wondered whether I hit the right look, because I actually wanted to wear a dress (I love dresses, they’re always perfect for every occasion). But my preferred piece proved to be a bit too transparently so that I quickly decided for wonderful white pants.
The first shot, you can see here, took my Mom before I entered the Kunztschule (she’s the best ^^).
After lots of other blogger arrived, the event started and the secret was disclosed: It was about a new blogger platform on the internet called “The Runway” (in some way it always reminds me of “The Devil wears Prada”), which is gonna be released in July. Therefore the blogger shall apply first to get a permission to take place. Thereby the hosts want to ensure that their platform reaches a high level and high quality, because The Runway contains only high qualified blogs then. But (!) you have to yield your rights, your name, your content to the host VOX and RTL and if you should earn something with you blog after they advertised you and broadcasted your blog via TV or radio, you have to share your benefit 50:50 with them. This is a lot. For the smaller blogger (we were a well-balanced group of big known and smaller bloggers) this might be a chance to get new followers, clicks and visitors but the price seems to high. Beyond that you have to post two to three articles per week – this is defined in the contract! And what happens if your life changes? What if you don’t want to be a blogger anymore? The contract is about two years…
I had lots of fun because I got to known two beautiful and gorgeous ladies: Anna and Doreen. So I can speak about that the night was a successful for me! It was a pleaser to talk with all of these beautiful girls there and I was happy about my giveaway bag 🙂

Vor einigen Wochen (eigentlich ist es schon fast ein Monat her ;-)) wurde ich von einer PR-Agentin zu einer besonderen Blogger-Nacht nach Berlin eingeladen: Zur VOX Secret SPA Night. Ich war neugierig und sagte natürlich zu! Ich war sehr aufgeregt als ich den Veranstaltungsort, namens “Kunztschule” in Berlin Mitte an der Friedrichstraße, erreichte. Unser Dresscode lautete “Glamorous White” und so fragte ich mich, ob ich den richtigen Look getroffen hatte, da ich eigentlich zu einem Kleid greifen wollte (ich liebe Kleider, weil sie für jeden Anlass das Richtige sind). Aber mein bevorzugtes Stück erwies sich als etwas zu transparent, so dass ich mich kurzerhand für diese schöne weiße Hose entschied.
Die erste Aufnahme hat übrigens meine Mama gemacht, bevor ich die Kunztschule betreten habe (sie ist die Beste^^).
Nachdem nun andere Blogger ankamen, begann das Event und das Geheimnis wurde gelüftet: Es drehte sich dabei um eine neue Blogger-Plattform im Internet, namens “The Runway” (erinnert mich irgendwie immer an “Der Teufel trägt Prada”), die im Juli veröffentlicht wird. Dafür sollen sich Blogger erstmal bewerben, um überhaupt eine Erlaubnis zur Teilnahme zu erhalten. So wollen die Veranstalter sicher gehen, dass die Plattform ein hohes Niveau mit hoher Qualität erreicht, denn The Runway würde dann nur noch hoch qualifizierte Blogs enthalten. Allerdings (!) muss man seine Rechte, wie seinen Namen, den Inhalt und die Rechte an den Host VOX und RTL abgegeben, und sollte man etwas mit dem Blog verdienen, nachdem sie kräftig die Werbetrommel gerührt und den Blog über Fernsehen und Radio verbreitet haben, muss man seinen Gewinn 50:50 mit ihnen teilen. Das ist viel. Für die kleinen Blogger (wir waren eine ausgewogene Gruppe mit großen, bekannten und auch kleineren Bloggern) mag das eine Chance sein neue Follower, Klicks und Besucher zu bekommen, aber der Preis dafür erscheint mir zu hoch. Darüber hinaus muss man zwei bis drei Artikel pro Woche veröffentlichen – das ist vertraglich festgelegt. Aber was, wenn sich die Lebensumstände verändern? Was, wenn man kein Blogger mehr sein möchte? Der Vertrag dauert zwei Jahre…
Ich hatte jede Menge Spaß, denn ich habe zwei wunderhübsche Ladies kennengelernt: Anna und Doreen. Ich kann also davon sprechen, dass der Abend für mich sehr erfolgreich war! Ich hatte Vergnügen mich mit all diesen hübschen Mädchen zu unterhalten und habe mich auch über meine Giveaway-Tüte gefreut.

Ich hab mich übrigens erstmal beworben und werde mir den Vertrag dann mal ganz genau durchlesen. Einen Versuch ist es wert und ich werd mal schauen, wie das läuft. Wenn mir zu viele Klauseln und zu viel Einschränkungen im Vertrag sind, werd ich das auch nicht machen…

Das Event war sicherlich toll und das Konzept klingt gar nicht schlecht, wenn das Portal für Blogger frei zugänglich wäre. Ein Vertrag mit einer Teilung von 50 % ist mehr als dreist. Dann wäre es ehrlicher auserwählte Blogger für die Plattform zu gewinnen und diese zu bezahlen! So einen Knebelvertrag würde ich niemals unterschreiben.

Das ist schon mehr als unverschämt, wenn ich das mal so sagen darf. Agenturen kassieren auch keine 50 Prozent von ihren Künstlern/ Models/ Schauspielern. Wer da mit macht, der redet sich die 2 Jahre wohl auch nur schön. Fakt ist, da ist eine Menge Geld zu machen, wenn der Blogger richtig gepusht wird. Aber Ruhm um jeden Preis? NEIN! Und auf Beiträge pro Woche würde ich mich auch nie festnageln lassen.
Bloß die Finger davon lassen. Deine Einstellung ist richtig.

dein outfit finde ich echt klasse!
und was das konzept der plattform betrifft ist auf gut deutsch gesagt ein scheißdreck. ganz ehrlich, dass ein großes medienhaus im endeffekt gratis hochwertigen content bekommt und dann auch noch einen share von 50% im falle einer vermarktung bekommt ist sehr dreist. würde ich nicht machen. reichweite kann man sich auch anderes aufbauen.

Ich muss ja auch sagen, dass ich nicht hoffe, dass du da ernsthaft drüber nachdenkst. Allein die Bedingungen, von denen du hier schreibst (wer weiß, was in den Verträgen letztendlich noch drinstehen wird) sind wirklich übel und grenzen an Entmündigung. Klar, die pushen dich dann ganz dolle, zahlen dir im Gegenzug dann nix für deine Kreativität, dein Engagement und deinen Einsatz und streichen dann munter die Hälfte dessen ein, was du erwirtschaftest – und wehe du lieferst mal nicht die vertraglich vereinbarten Artikel ab, dann gibt es aber erst einmal richtig Ärger, oder wie!?!
Dafür ist dein Outfit wieder einmal klasse und neue Bekanntschaften sind auch immer toll, dahingehend kannst du den Abend sicherlich als Erfolg verbuchen, aber dieses “Angebot”…
Ich würde solche krassen Aussage darüber nicht treffen, ohne überhaupt einen Vertrag gesehen zu haben. Denn der Gegenteil ist der Fall, es gibt keine “Knebelbedingungen”, man kann auch Pausen beim Bloggen absprechen und es ist RTL sehr viel daran gelegen, dass alle Blogger ihre Unabhängigkeit behalten. Außerdem gibt es auch eine Reißleine und man kann wieder zu seinem alten Blog zurück, wenn man nicht happy ist. 50:50 teilen ist doch außerdem bei Glam und Affiliate-Netzwerken auch nicht anders?
Ob du es glaubst oder nicht, aber die „krassen“ Aussagen habe ich noch aus dem Kommentar herausgelassen. Natürlich kenne ich den Vertrag nicht und habe mir meine Meinung rein auf Basis von Stellas Äußerungen gebildet und da hört es sich für mich schon nach Knebelbedingungen an, wenn „man seine Rechte, wie seinen Namen, den Inhalt“ etc. an RTL abtreten muss. Da sehe ich dann auch nicht unbedingt, wie sehr RTL daran gelegen sein muss, dass alle Blogger ihre Unabhängigkeit behalten. Wie das in anderen Netzwerken aussieht weiß ich nicht, aber 50:50 teilen, dafür dass der Blogger im Grunde die gesamte Arbeit macht und seine eigene Reputation auch noch mitbringt erscheint mir einfach nicht verhältnismäßig.
Mich würde im Übrigen interessieren, woher du diese Informationen hast, denn wenn ich deiner Meinung nach „solche krassen Aussagen“ nicht treffen sollte, ohne den Vertrag zu kennen, kann ich andersherum ja auch meine Meinung nicht einfach ändern, nur weil du schreibst, dass das „Gegenteil der Fall“ ist.

Du siehst sehr edel und hübsch aus 🙂 Kann mir vorstellen, dass es ein spannendes Event war, aber diese Plattform klingt für mich schwer nach Knebelvertrag. 2-3 Posts pro Woche? 2 Jahre Laufzeit? 50:50 Teilen? Das würde ich nicht machen… Bloggen ist für mich allerdings auch Hobby und bleibt es auch.

Die vertraglichen Bedingungen sind wirklich hart. Ich würde da nicht mitmachen, weil ich noch ein Leben ausserhalb des Bloggens habe.
Wenn man 2-3 Artikel pro Woche veröffentlichen muss, ist das wirklich anstrengend. Das merke ich schon bei meinem Hobbyblog.
Ich würde da auf jeden Fall NICHT einsteigen. Man kann auch ohne die Werbung erfolgreich werden, und ist dabei viel freier.

Also Deinen Look finde ich auf jeden Fall super! So ganz in weiß steht Dir, und ich finde das Ganze sehr modisch und sophisticated. Und jetzt weiß ich, warum Du so toll bist, wenn Deine Mama die Beste ist, denn die guten Sachen vererben sich auch <3 Und nein, da würde ich auf keinen Fall mitmachen, denn dieses Verhältnis scheint mir im Vergleich zum Arbeitsaufwand definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt. Also an sich klingt dieses Konzept ja nicht schlecht, der Vertrag scheint uns aber schon ziemlich dreist. Für die meisten von uns ist Bloggen ja immer noch ein Hobby und eine Leidenschaft und nichts, was einem vertraglichen Zwang unterliegen sollte. Wir denken, dass man da doch lieber autark bleiben sollte, davon hat man letztendlich wahrscheinlich mehr. Wie du schon sagst, Lebensumstände verändern sich und man sollte die Möglichkeit haben, sich da anzupassen. Einen Blog, den man über eine lange Zeit und mit viel Liebe selbst aufgebaut hat so einfach zu “verkaufen”, das würden wir wohl eher nicht machen…

Aha! Endlich klärt mal jemand auf. Habe bei ein paar Blogger über dieses Event gelesen, aber noch niemand hat aufgeklärt, worum es geht. Danke dafür! Und nein, dass klingt nach abzocke irgendwie, finde ich. 50/50?! Dafür das du die ganze Arbeit hast. Drei Beträge die Woche, kosten so viel Zeit.
