TRENCHCOAT ON A RAINY DAY
It’s spring, it’s getting warmer – and also really rainy. Our best companion: the trench coat. Original sewed or created for generals during First World War, they find their way into the fashion section. For ages they can be combined with skirts, dresses, culottes, jeans and many more. Always classy and chic but so versatile at the same time. As inspiration I made a collage for you with a Michael Kors trench coat I found and really loved. I own a similar piece I wear almost every day – depending on my style mood.
The weekend I’m gonna spend my time at the youth consecrate of my nephew and hope the rain won’t kill me (they’ve announced storm and showers!).
What are you up to for the weekend?
Es ist Frühling, es wird wärmer – und auch regnerischer. Unser bester Begleiter: der Trenchcoat. Ursprünglich für Generäle im Ersten Weltkrieg genäht bzw. entworfen, fanden sie ihren Weg in den Modebereich. Seit Jahren werden sie zu Röcken, Kleidern, Culottes, Jeans und vielem mehr kombiniert. Immer klassisch und chic, aber doch so wandlungsfähig. Als Inspiration habe ich für euch eine Collage mit einem Michael Kors Trenchcoat gemacht, den ich gefunden habe und toll fand. Ich habe selbst ein etwas ähnliches Teil und trage es beinahe täglich – abhängig von meiner Style-Laune.
Das Wochenende werde ich bei der Jugendweihe meines Neffens sein und Stoßgebete zum Himmel schicken, dass das Wetter mich nicht umbringt (sie haben Starkregen und sogar Hagel angekündigt!).

Ein toller Look! Die Collage finde ich richtig toll. Gummistiefel habe ich gar keine und ich brauche dringend mal ein Paar, das auch noch richtig stylish ist :-*

Ich hoffe, dass Du inzwischen das Wochenende trotz (hoffentlich nicht allzu garstigem) Wetter überlebt hast. Bei uns in der Schweiz war es sonnig und dann abwechselnd wieder fuchtbar gewitterhaft..
