THE VALENTINE’S DAY ISSUE
The clock is ticking! Only a few days are left until Valentine’s Day! On the 14th of February it will be all about sweets (pralines, chocolate), flowers (roses!) and little gifts (jewelry). Get ready for your Valentine’s Day look. For this occasion I show you two style options!
What to wear for Valentine’s Day?
Did you know? For Valentine’s Day in Japan traditionally only girls give their preferred boys their self-made chocolate and cards. Exactly one month later on the 14th March, it’s the boys turn – for a lovely revenge. It’s called the White Day in Japan!

Die Uhr tickt! Nur noch wenige Tage bis zum Valentinstag! Am 14. Februar geht es nur noch um Süßigkeiten (Pralinen, Schokolade), Blumen (Rosen!) und kleine Geschenke (Schmuck). Macht euch bereit für einen Valentinstags-Look. Für diesen Anlass habe ich zwei Style-Optionen für euch rausgesucht:

Wusstet ihr schon? Am Valentinstag in Japan schenken traditionell nur die Mädchen ihren Liebsten selbst gemachte Schokolade und Karten. Um sich zu revanchieren, sind die Jungs dann exakt einen Monat später, am 14. März zum sogenannten White Day in Japan an der Reihe.
Einen fröhlichen VALENTINSTAG!
Sporty and girlie: With a romantic jeans (embroideries are indispensable right now!) and a blouse you can’t go wrong. Break the sweet style with satin sneakers, so that you can spend the whole day afoot – for a walk in the park, an exhibition or if you go to the movies.
Sportlich und girlie: Mit einer romantisch angehauchten Jeans (Stickereien sind derzeit unabdingbar!) und eine Bluse seid ihr immer auf der richtigen Seite. Brecht den süßen Look mit Satin-Sneakers, so dass ihr den gesamten Tag auf den Beinen sein könnt – für einen Spaziergang im Park, eine Ausstellung oder einen Kinobesuch.

Romantic and ladylike: Stick to the same colors and shades (beige or rose) for an extra portion of classiness. High heels – if you want to have a great night out (candle-light-dinner!!!) – and a chic lace dress will charm him. Too much? A bomber jacket will kill the lady a bit and down-dresses everything.
Romantisch und ladylike: Bleibt in den gleichen Farben und Nuancen (beige oder rosa) für eine extra Portion Eleganz. High-heels – wenn ihr einen tollen Abend vor euch habt (Candle-Light-Dinner!!!) – und ein Spitzenkleid werden ihn verzaubern. Zu viel? Eine Bomberjacke wird den Ladylook etwas killen und insgesamt alltagstauglicher machen.
