Skirt Melancholy
It’s so cold! And I’m so sick of jeans. Well, most of the time I end up wearing them with boots and sweaters (so it’s advisable to have several ones). But it’s all about the material! Change cotton into wool and wear a skirt – like I did. BUT (!): Since PETA discovered the horrible situations for sheep when they get sheared, wearing wool became an absolute no-go. It’s a pity but of course I definitely do support this – beside I have less (most really old) pieces made of wool. But in my defense: I didn’t know that it was a wool skirt at first, which I’ve bought at Zara (it’s still sale – don’t say anything now).
This day I’d been to the Monument to the Battle of the Nations. The lake lay calm in front of me, the dark clouds passed by so fast and with the bald trees a melancholic atmosphere was created… This is why I decided to let the pictures speak for themselves in dramatic black and white!
Es ist so kalt! Und ich habe von Jeans wirklich genug! Oft ende ich aber dann in ihnen mit Stiefeln und Pullovern (daher ist es ratsam verschiedene zu haben). Dabei geht es doch ums Material! Ändert Baumwolle in Wolle und tragt Röcke – so wie ich. ABER (!): Seit PETA die entsetzlichen Bedingungen unter der Schafe geschoren werden, aufgedeckt hat, ist es mittlerweile ein No-Go geworden generell Wolle zu tragen. Das ist schade, aber ich unterstütze das natürlich – außerdem habe ich sehr wenige (meist alte) Kleidungsstücke aus Wolle. Zu meiner Verteidigung: Ich wusste zu Beginn nicht, dass es sich um einen Wollrock handelte, den ich da bei Zara gekauft habe (es ist noch immer Sale – sagt jetzt nichts).
An diesem Tag bin ich zum Völkerschlachtdenkmal. Der See lag ruhig vor mir, die dunklen Wolken zogen vorüber und mit den kahlen Bäume entstand eine richtig melancholische Atmosphäre… Darum hab ich auch beschlossen die Bilder für sich in dramatischem Schwarz und Weiß sprechen zu lassen!

Also ich trage ja so gut wie nie Jeans – erst Recht nicht im Winter, weil man darin immer so auskühlt! Ich liebe einfach Thermostrumpfhosen kombiniert mit Röcken und Kleidern! So kommt man warm, bequem und ohne Jeans durch den Winter 🙂
Dein Outfit finde ich sehr gelungen. Natürlich würden mich auch die Farben interessieren, aber es wirkt so doch sehr harmonisch!
