PINK FLORAL WIESN DIRNDL
It’s pink, it’s short, it’s lovely: My Wiesn dirndl with floral prints and delicate jewelry at the décolleté was the perfect choice for the Wiesn in Eisleben! Yes, you read right. I have not been to the Oktoberfest in Munich but to the much older feast in a small city in Saxony-Anhalt. It was the 495th celebration with loads of carousels, food booths (fumigated salmon over naked flames, polled pork, Churros, crêpes and much more!) and a huge pavilion in the middle of the area in which they sold typical German beer. So actually everything a bit like the Oktoberfest but less people and much more fun!
In Germany we don’t have lots of traditions but I think this one is really wonderful and I loved to wear the dirndl.

Es ist pink, es ist kurz, es ist bezaubernd: Mein Wiesn Dirndl mit floralem Druck und zarten Schmuck am Décolleté war meine perfekte Wahl für die Wiesn in Lutherstadt Eisleben! Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen. Ich war nicht zum Oktoberfest in München, sondern zu einem viel älteren Fest in einer kleinen Stadt in Sachsen-Anhalt. Es war das 495. Jubiläum mit einer Menge Karussells, Essensständen (geräucherter Lachs über dem offenen Feuer, gepökeltes Schwein, Churros, Crêpes und vielem mehr!) und einem riesigen Festzelt in der Mitte des Areals in dem typisch deutsches Bier verkauft wurde. Also, eigentlich alles etwas wie beim Oktoberfest doch mit weniger Menschen und viel mehr Spaß!
In Deutschland haben wir nicht allzu viele Traditionen, aber diese hier ist wirklich wunderbar und es hat mir sehr viel Freude bereitet das Dirndl zu tragen.
