OVERKNEES AND NAF NAF PARKA
This is the first time for me. We’re talking about overknee boots. Every fall/winter designers drag out these special boots and put them into the fashion spotlight. On the runway? Perfect, amazing, exciting. In the every day life? Difficult, marginal and clichéd. Because if you wear them with a thin heel and a short skirt people still (!!) think you may pursue other businesses…
So how to wear overknee boots?
In my eyes, flat heels are the best choice to survive everyday. With a jeans and a heavy knitted sweater they come into their’s own.
High heeled overknee boots look amazing with midi-skirts or dresses and coats. Hiding them + keeping your legs warm at the same time = nailed it!
I created a combination of both variants: flat heels and a short dress plus a parka to break the elegant lady chic (currently I am crazy for long pearl necklaces).

Das ist das erste Mal für mich: Wir reden hier von Overknee-Stiefel. Jede Herbst/Winter-Saison wieder zerren sie die Designer ins Mode-Rampenlicht. Auf dem Runway? Perfekt, fantastisch, aufregend. Im täglich Leben? Schwierig, grenzwertig, klischeebehaftet. Denn wenn man sie mit einem dünnen Absatz und kurzen Rock trägt, denken die Leute noch immer (!!), man ginge anderen Geschäften nach…
Wie also trägt man Overknee-Stiefel?
Flache Absätze sind meiner Ansicht nach die beste Lösung für jeden Tag. Mit Jeans und einem schweren Strickpullover kommen sie voll zur Geltung.
Overknee-Stiefel mit Highheels sehen fabelhaft mit einem Midi-Rock oder Kleid und einem Mantel aus. Sie zu verstecken + gleichzeitig die Beine warm zu halten = getroffen!
Ich selbst habe eine Kombination beider Varianten kreiert: Flache Absätze mit einem kurzen Kleid und einem Parka, um den eleganten Lady-Chic (momentan stehe ich total auf lange Perlenketten) zu brechen.

I know what you mean, I have a friend who wears over the knee boots, stiletto heels style and a mini tight dress.
