LOVE MATTERS
Once upon a time there was a photographer. He used to work as a freelancer for great magazines and newspapers. His love for his girlfriend was in addition to the photography. In Morocco they gave a promise with special rings engraved with Arabian script. They moved together in a condominium. But then New Year’s Eve came and they visited a party, at which she met someone – a girl. She fell in love with her and moved together in the condominium – with him. He was strong and allowed the three-some in the apartment, in life, in bed. Until the new girlfriend of his girlfriend forced her to choose between her and him.
She decided for her and kicked him out of his life.
When I listened to his story I couldn’t help to ask myself: do promises only exist to be broken?
And how much can love stand?
Does traditional love still exist?
My friend – let’s name her Chris – could be described as bisexual. Before she met girls she was in long relationships with men. Now she found a man again (after she had been together with women for many years) and it looks like true love. Currently they’re looking for rings – diamond rings.
So in the end does everything “end up” in “old-school” relationships with marriage, kids and houses?
Chris is happy and this is the most important point. But my friend, who lost his girlfriend is tired of any relationship momentarily and is only looking for distraction – what else?

Yes I think about this so much. It especially hits me when I see someone on social media all excited to find “the love of their life” knowing that in a very short time there will be those passive agressive phrase posts about telling the truth or chasing people when they run away. Eh, its all so exhausting because it is all so predictable. Can there be true love? Of course. But in our impatient society so hell bent on finding “the one” that anyone who treats us like we are special instantly fills that role. You find “the one” by not being fooled, being used by “the many”. Patience is the start of the search, a major piece, but several others are vital as well. Very interesting post, dear! Kisses

I think life is what you make it, and yes it is unpredictable for sure. People can change and outgrow each other many times. I think the one that stay together allow themselves to grow together.

Beautiful pictures you show, but the point is love, so let me think… mmm… I think that the guy who was kicked must be skeptical now, after what he accepted and after all was kicked. He was very supportive and was let down, But if he closes himself and only look for distraction, he will end up numb, feeling empty… I think that promises can’t be made, love today is one thing and in some years changes to another – it doesn’t mean that people have to leave each other, but to understand that it’s another level, different from passion. And it seems people re always looking for passion, like a fix. Just an idea, I can also change my mind 🙂 Very goo topic!
