This weekend I had my first live video on Instagram! I was so proud that I’ve found the function and even tried it, ha ha! I had almost 180 views – not bad for a Saturday afternoon. The reason? I’ve been to The Wedding Show by Gala (a famous German magazine – yellow press). Some of you might read here that my favorite man on earth asked me the one and only question when we’ve been to Paris, so it was clear, that we should take a look at this trade fair.
Because we had VIP tickets, amazing goodie bags, free sparkling wine and best seats at the fashion show waited for us. The event was worth visiting: the popular German wedding planner Froonck was also there and gave advices for planning a dream wedding, lots of wedding shops from the region presented their dresses, little traders showed their skills referring flowers, decorations and so on. Some more exhibitors would have been great but generally I was surprised that the host Gala could win so much people and booths anyway.
For me the afternoon was successful: Because I found my wedding dress already, I know now where I’m gonna pick up my bridal bouquet when the day is nearby. And my beloved one found inspiration for his wedding suit. Next time The Wedding Show by Gala will take place in Berlin on August 28th, 2017. And I can warmly recommend this event.
An diesem Wochenende hatte ich mein erstes Live-Video auf Instagram! Ich war so stolz diese Funktion gefunden zu haben, dass ich es ausprobiert hatte, ha ha! Ich hatte beinahe 180 Zuschauer – nicht schlecht für einen Samstagnachmittag. Der Grund? Ich war auf der The Wedding Show by Gala. Einige von euch mögen hier bereits gelesen haben, dass mir mein Lieblingsmensch die wichtigste Frage überhaupt gestellt hat, als wir in Paris waren. Es war also nur logisch, dass wir uns diese Messe mal anschauen sollten.
Da wir VIP-Tickets hatten, warteten tolle Goodie-Bags, freier Prosecco und Sitzplätze in der ersten Reihe der Modenschau auf uns. Das Event war wirklich sehenswert: Der beliebte Hochzeitsplaner Froonck war da und gab Tipps für die perfekte Traumhochzeit, viele Brautläden aus der Region stellten ihre Kleider vor, kleine Händler zeigten ihr Können hinsichtlich Blumen, Dekorationen und anderem. Es hätten ruhig noch einige weitere Aussteller vor Ort sein können, aber ich war generell überrascht, dass der Veranstalter Gala überhaupt so viele Leute und Stände gewinnen konnte.
Für mich war der Nachmittag auf jeden Fall erfolgreich. Da ich mein Kleid schon gefunden habe, weiß ich nun wo ich meinen Brautstrauß machen lasse. Und mein Zukünftiger fand schöne Inspirationen für seinen Hochzeitsanzug. Das nächste mal wird The Wedding Show by Gala in Berlin am 28. August 2017 stattfinden. Ich kann dieses Event wirklich nur empfehlen.

Oh, I love wedding fairs! I have seen some happening when I lived in Germany and I simply loved them! I am glad that you already found your wedding dress, and how beautiful these pictures are! You look great, loved your booties! I think that wedding fairs are great to show the latest trends and also, to see some traditional things, and decide which style you want for the party.
