Curtain Calls

When I wake up in my magical penthouse in the early morning, I notice: My goodness – babe, you need curtains. Since November I’m living in my personal palace but still have nothing for plunging my room into darkness. Currently I used a blanket as curtain like a student. It looks like a baldachin means very princess-like but this is nothing in a long run, don’t you think?

I thought: A fitting roller bling is much more beautiful! Thus I took the time and foraged a bit. Because I have windows by Velux I preferred looking at the online-shop of the producer. And guess what. One curtain is more chic than the other. My fav are clean and minimalistic ones, so that I keep my bedroom quiet (no loudly color pops in my white room) – and dark.

Wenn ich in meiner verzauberten Dachwohnung früh aufwache, stelle ich fest: Mein Gott. Du brauchst Vorhänge. Seit November wohne ich jetzt schon in meinem persönlichen Parlais, habe aber bisher noch keine Möglichkeit gefunden mein Zimmer in Dunkelheit zu tauchen. Momentan habe ich wie ein Student eine dünne Decke rein geklemmt. Das sieht zwar aus wie ein Baldachin, sprich sehr prinzessinnenhaft, ist aber eben nichts auf lange Sicht. Ich fand: Ein passendes Rollo wäre viel hübscher! Also, hab ich mir die Zeit genommen und mal etwas gestöbert. Da in meinen Dachschrägen Fenster von Velux eingebaut wurden, hab ich es vorgezogen gleich mal im Onlineshop beim Hersteller zu schauen. Und siehe da! Eine Jalousie schicker als die andere. Am liebsten clean und minimalistisch, damit das Schlafzimmer ruhig bleibt (keine lauten Farbkontraste in meinem weißen Zimmer) – und dunkel.

  5. Leider kann ich keinen Kommentar schreiben, weil ich grün vor Neid und immobil bin ;-)))))
    Also das ist super super super toll!!!! Ich verstehe natürlich, dass du etwas an den Fenstern brichst – für die Privacy und zum besser schlafen – wäre auch für Jalousien, die man so wenig wie möglich bemerkt.
    Uff grr, grr uff – will auch so eine Wohnung!!!!!!!!!!

  18. I think curtains are a MUST-HAVE items in the bedroom. Not only it dresses up the room but it’s also good to keeping the lights out.

  26. Liebste Stella, doch die Rollos gefallen mir, auch wenn ich die von Dir eingeklemmte Decke durchaus kreativ finde. Aber ich bin Deiner Meinung, solche Rollos sehen schick aus. Und man kann dann jedes Zimmer nach Bedarf verdunkeln oder aber auch Beobachter die Sicht versperren :) Hoffentlich hast Du den heutigen Tag der Umarmung genossen! Ich drück Dich <3 Deine Rena

  62. Ich hab gar keine Vorhänge… Hat mich zu Beginn auch ein wenig gestört, aber mittlerweile bin ich sehr daran gewöhnt ;)
