CROPPED FLARE JEANS

This autumn/winter the signs point to styles of the 70s era. I was surprised because the 70s and ethno looks (see Desquared2!!) were always part of the summer season – so far. This season we are wrapped in fur (hopefully FAKE-fur!), Indian textiles and yes, flared jeans. Every now and then designer, stars and models put out flared jeans and I am not a huge fan of them. But (!!) this time we have a new variant of the long boot-cut style: cropped flare jeans. The cut is great and the length is a must: You can finally see the shoes instead of hiding them under a huge flare. I will see whether I am going to snatch one because currently I own jeans with wide legs up from the hips (similar like a culottes) and cropped denim-culottes. And even yesterday I bought a pair of boyfriend jeans by Zara (on sale and a bit too big, but who cares?). I still can’t get enough of boyfriend jeans.

See you on Thursday, peeps!

  1. I really like flared jeans, and as you said, the pair you bought may be a bit too big, but I prefer comfort! Well done! I loved the inspirational photos, I am losing some weight and can maybe wear some pairs of jeans again, without looking too big!

  2. Honestly I prefer regular long flares, but the more tailored version of the cropped ones is not too bad either.
