Today was my last working day and I felt so Christmassy, that I celebrated a little pre-Christmas with a wonderfully silk blouse and bordeaux pants, which have fabulous velvet patterns. Black and bordeaux are the ultimate Christmas colors for me (they blend so well with each other) and belong together as well as dark green (here on my nails). Because I was in such a good mood I even brought stollen (with delicious marzipan inside) and gingerbread for the editorial office. Yesterday I bought last Christmas presents, which I’m gonna pack into colorful gift wrap paper, right now.
Tomorrow is Christmas then and I’m sure it’s gonna be very solemnly.
Heute war mein vorerst letzter Arbeitstag und ich war so in Weihnachtslaune, dass ich mein persönliches Vor-Weihnachten mit einer tollen Seidenbluse und bordeaux-farbenen Hosen mit fabelhaften Samtmustern feierte. Schwarz und Bordeaux gehören für mich einfach zu Weihnachten wie die Christstolle und der Weihnachtsmann. Die Farben harmonieren wunderbar miteinander, obwohl ich auch dunkles tannengrün sehr mag (hier zu sehen auf meinen Nägeln). Apropos Stollen: Diesen habe ich sogar gemeinsam mit Lebkuchen, der Redaktion mitgebracht.
Gestern habe ich die letzten Geschenke gekauft, die ich jetzt in buntes Geschenkpapier einwickeln werde.
Morgen ist es dann soweit – ich bin sicher, dass Weihnachten schön festlich wird.
