POP ART SNEAKERS
Wanna invent your own shit instead of buying Adidas creations? I thought yes! And was happy to find the french sneakers company called Mr. Monkies. Monkies Shoes can be designed very easy: I took the felt pens, which you get with the sneakers, and started to draw. Because I really love Pop Art with its protagonists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, and I find comic paintings and Campbell’s Soup fabulous, I’ve decided for pistols, a comic-face and lots of bright colors.
What do you say? Did I make a great job?
Na, mal keine Lust Adidas-Kreationen zu kaufen, sondern etwas selbst zu gestalten? Ich dachte, na klar! Darum habe ich mich sehr gefreut die französische Sneakerfirma Mr. Monkies gefunden zu haben. Monkies Shoes können ganz simpel designed werden: Ich habe einfach die beigefügten Filzstifte benutzt und angefangen zu malen. Da ich Pop Art mit seinen Protagonisten Andy Warhol und Roy Lichtenstein so liebe, und die Comicbilder sowie Campbell’s Soup fabelhaft finde, entschied ich mich für knallige Pistolen, ein Comicgesicht und grelle Farben.
Was meint ihr? Hab ich es hinbekommen?

Nice coat and sneakers! The sneakers remind me of that pop art vibe yeah but also Andy Warhol’s friend who they did a Reebok collection for years ago, Basquiat (look it up). His art was put all over the sneakers, you might like that, its great. I like what your doing here xx
